Tonight on Jake's Showcase http://youtube.com/JakesShowcase I have just released "How to Get More Views On Youtube  - 750,000 Views The Real Way - MY ON FOOT MARKETING" https://youtu.be/Dvz-TCDlqRQ currently at 4 Views 2 Likes 0 Dislikes. It was single shot with natural and spotlight lighting.
Really I had wanted to have this go on Wednesday because I have videos in wait and I thought that this video would be a good one to last a week, but I looked again at my prior videos on YouTube advertising and saw that it was the quality of the video not necessarily the length of days that would determine the viewership.
Also here I didn't want to bore people with just having a Wednesday video. You want to keep that "gotta check" to see if a new video is out feel to the channel by mixing up the times of release. Also the video on scholarships "Tips and Techniques to Win a Full Scholarship" https://youtu.be/Qe4jAneVxeg currently at 298 views 25 Likes 0 Dislikes, while correct and interesting to those interested does not have a lot of pizzazz and a lot of jump so to speak, a bit dry. While I hate to have any video "moved on" from with less then 301 views 298 is close and the channel was really down today overall. Now it is a gorgeous mid Summer August day and night and people aren't rushing to YouTube overall but still I hate seeing momentum fade. 
It's the beautiful day and night this Saturday that lead to my final decision to release it. I was just at a fun birthday party. The food was good but as the sun went down the beer's and wines were flowing and they were going to get smashed. Me a non drinker does not participate in this "fun" and there is a big feeling of being left out of the fun, out of the "real fun" that happens summer nights. So as usual I left. But I thought, hey think about all my fellow non-drinkers, non-druggers that are leaving their parties as the sun comes down and the beers and the joints come out just trying to stay sober, they must all feel that same sense of "feeling left out" and feeling why can't I. These people who are a key part of my audience need some fun and some entertainment too. Give them a video. For me it gives me a high of sorts too as my numbers climb interday with a video release. Being released on a past dark Saturday night gives a good chance for all the West Coast to see it in their feeds in a timely fashion, let them talk about me at their parties and who knows maybe another TV offer emerges or maybe a video current or past get set viral.
So this video is for me, the channel, the viewer who like me needs some good entertainment on a sober Saturday night,
