Tonight on Jake's Showcase http://youtube.com/JakesShowcase I have just released "Jake Johnston - "Maybe There's Somebody" Love Song - First Cut" https://youtu.be/9tf0ZGJ3ydg currently at 5 Views 5 Likes 0 Dislikes. It was single shot with spotlight lighting.
This was my first "first cut" video and while the song did not come across exactly how I had envisioned it when I looked at subsequent takes it was clear that this version gave me the chills so it was the best. In music very few songs give the chills where it touches something more then one can control and the combination of words, voice and music actually affects the nervous systems to the point where you get the chills goosebumps or shivers. When you have that type of reaction you go with it.
As I move along in Jake's Showcase and in life I look for meaning, truth, strength. Being moved by emotions, instincts is a good start and using my heart to feel what is right is a good finish.
I continue on this my birthday week forward in YouTube and in life.
I felt that this video, this song, really hits the spot.
Many may wonder where or how I get the inspiration from. The ideas, the drive, what is this vision of yours anyway? Well I don't really know, I just know I have to do it.
Will this video spread like I would like. Is it possible it is the catalyst for the channel to be propelled to my one million views across the channel in short order.
For years now I've been pitching a pitch each and every week. And each and every week I hope or think maybe here this will be a hit. This being my birthday week, and my birthday being so special to me, I wonder is the magic of the internet to happen now.
