I Love The Support

Wow, well I guess the crowd digged me a stepping out of my pattern here. While the view count numbers of 259 views is quite good, yet not overwhelming for 2 days of viewership for me the 27 Likes to 1 Dislikes is a sharp contrast to the prior videos "Jake Johnston - "A Little To Cute For Me" https://youtu.be/O8sLmhsUtL4 312 views 11 Likes 17 dislikes of this most recent week.
It's actually interesting that video having 17 dislikes is the exact same amount as the week's prior to that "Jake Johnston  - "Cat Girl" https://youtu.be/59n4TxmTd0g 498 views 20 Likes 17 dislikes. The 17 dislikes is the common feature in the last two videos.
You see I've started a new job the past couple of weeks in a small town just outside the city's perimeter. The city I live in has been impossible for me to get a job and I've been forced to a small town of 36,000 about half an hour outside the city. While it's considered within the London metropolitan area it truly is a small town and while I had hope for a fresh start, new crowd, new beginning, I'm not sure some of the small town folk take to me that well.
Truthfully a lot of people don't take to me that well but in a small town, they tend to really notice me. I'm different, I'm the city kid, and they ain't a fan of city kids. Everything from my dress shirts to my hair do, it really stands out and I think a few of them might not like me so much and have lashed out by "disliking" my videos which while I've mentioned Jake's Showcase there to no one, word spreads fast in a small town and that's the way they can "get me".
Anyway I hope to win them over eventually. If you look at the pattern of prior videos to me starting my job I usually get 1 or 2 dislikes per video so that leaves about 15 of these dislikes coming from this small town.
I realize I need a lot of work and can accept people not liking me for whatever reason but sometimes it hurts to have people attack my videos and I don't feel it's a fair representation of the quality or lack of quality when it's done not as a judgement of the video but rather of me.
I title this I Love the Support because today I had a new fan really lash out at one of my critics in depth on my prior music video. I felt like it was a eloquent, intelligent and experienced response. Something to be listened to. So the support that I love is the support I'm given. Even if it's just one or two fans that are willing to cheer me on and say the things that I won't in response to unreasonable critics, I love it when the help me out. I won't respond to negative comments because it's just a terrible and very ineffective use of my energy and plus you might say something you really regret.
I love the support even if I am only writing to  you my one supporter. The critics and haters will fade, they always fade in time, I guess they just get en wrapped in their misery and it overtakes them or they get bored and move on, or they start liking you or some combination. Negativism always loses, so stay positive for best results.
