If you've wondered about my disappearance truth was my internet was out the last two days and I had to wait around for the tech all day as someone had sabotaged my internet connection on Tuesday Night by ripping the telephone box cutting my phone cord on from the locked basement. I'm the only one with a phone connection and the sabotage was likely done by either a desperate junkie looking to pawn copper, someone who dislikes me or both combined.
Combined with a stellar awful snowstorm and frigid temperatures which has been about a month late in coming this year I found myself house bound and without a internet connection. I watched the Wolf of Wall Street a movie I've wanted to see and quite frankly has much realism that I can relate to in my days working for a stock brokerage firm. Interestingly while Leonardo DiCapprio is a great actor, amongst the best, I feel that I could have done his performance as well. It made me think about motion pictures.
Of very high interest to fans as well I was contacted by a television producer yesterday via phone. They want to fly me to Los Angles for a two to three day stint to be in a television episode. I would leave on a Thursday, we would shoot on a Friday and I would return on a Saturday. Hotel, planefare and per diem is taken care of the only question is money. I've told them what I want.
Honestly, I'm not sure. I'm on a tear and have worked really hard and my channel is growing and growing. While it's true being on a national show with give me international exposure it has to be remembered the end goal of landing high paying legit and ongoing roles either in a TV series or in Motion Pictures. Does taking a one off TV episode, in particular this one further my cause? I don't know. But I move forward with my eyes opened. Essentially I already know I'm good, the question is, is this good enough?
Nonetheless an interesting development, should know more in a week.
