Tonight on Jake's Showcase http://youtube.com/JakesShowcase I have just released my video "Coco Parody - I'm In Love With The YouTube" http://youtu.be/F428sn-dDu8 currently at 1 View 3 Likes 0 Dislikes. It was done single shot with all natural lighting.
This should be my most viewed video on my channel. It should be the highest number of views of any video on my channel very quickly two, likely within two weeks.
As you can see its my first attempt at a parody video and very raw. Its the first time I learned how to do a voice over and tried to match it the best I could to the video. Its raw funny and hits to the core. If you look real close there is a 0.4 second clip at the beginning of the video I had to add just with the video name and my name to match up the voice over and the lips as best I could.
Very tricky getting this to match. Furthermore its only one video frame and by matching the words to the video it slowed down the frames a bit but I think the rawness and fun of the video sells itself.
I repeat this should be my top viewed video.
As a side note I am currently at my parents house writing this tonight. Go figure at 7pm Tuesday Night my internet went down as a snowstorm hit. After three hours of trying to get it back up unsuccessfully I abandoned ship and headed out into the storm and drove off to my parents to I could be here at midnight to properly release this video. All that means is that I put the most current video on headline, add it to the proper playlists, like and annotate it, and post it to Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, Pinterest and my Google Plus Page and Jake's Showcase Google plus page and then of course write about it. I mention this simply to show my dedication to being there for my fans as I promise, each and every time. Honestly I thought as I was driving to my folks what would James Dean do, would he let it go or would he head out to the storm for his art. Of course you head out.
You may wonder why I didn't write last night or post to social media or reply to comments to my last video "Jake Johnston - "Daffodil" Love Song" in order to drive up view count as I always do....well simply...that video spoke for itself as it will forever. It's my love song for you. By this way today I posted the lyrics for that song under the video in the view more section for those interested.
