This morning on Jake's Showcase http://youtube.com/JakesShowcase my video "Cowboy Life" http://youtu.be/b1GDQmEW4dw is at 225 Views 20 Likes 0 Dislikes.
So yesterday under the 300 threshold but not to much. Remember you're always going to have down days, just try again the next day.
I have to say I've been researching and there is a definite precedent for the two videos a week format by a few key large YouTubers. For me the biggest YouTube viewership bump comes when I release a video and then it's hit and miss throughout the week depending on the season, video type, what people are doing that day. Like yesterday when I don't see the channel moving to my satisfaction of course I think "well man just start pumping out those videos" and get the channel hopping again. It's tempting.
Of course I would somewhat still systematize it and do either a Wednesday, Saturday or Max out and Wednesday, Friday Sunday. The increase in video production would cause the viewership in the channel overall to rise however because each video would have a shortened period of time as my headline video it would cause the average viewership per video to fall.
So there's two camps, the one a weekers and the two a weekers on YouTube. Two a week provides more consistent new content however it also can cause an over saturation and make viewing each of your videos less interesting and exciting to the audience.
Remember my goal is "one million views channel wide". Hmm, so you see the dilemma.
Not to mention that two videos a week causes twice the amount of work...but it's fun work overall.
I continued to be stumped on which strategy is best, I've clearly tried this one a week thing out and think a change might be good.
Have A Wonderful Day or Night Fans,
