Emergency Department Visit On a Saturday Night

Somewhat surprised because I think it is a good breakdown of AA and NA and there is a large amount of people who follow my channel for alcohol and drug related videos and they would have experiences with both programs. We'll see I think as time goes on this video will rise markedly.
After feeling miserable yesterday at work to the point it notably dragged down my work performance and mood, I headed to the hospital emergency department right after. I believed that I had a tooth infection not being able to eat properly and gaining a slight cold I thought some antibiotics would fit the bill. However being a Saturday evening all the walk in clinics were closed and my only access to getting antibiotics was the hospital emergency department.
I must have really thought I needed it because the last place you should spend a Saturday evening is the emergency department. It took over 4 hours of waiting, $12 parking, and when I finally saw not one but 3 doctors they said I didn't have a tooth infection rather a broken tooth and could freeze my jaw for 10 hours but nothing else, I took a pass. So I need to see a dentist I guess. The joyful alternative according to the doctor was "well the nerves will eventually die" and you won't feel it. Yeah yeah.
My aversion to painkillers due to fear of addiction makes me very up front to the medical community that I don't want any. Even Tylenol no thanks. So I got nothing from the hospital visit except a parking bill.
Honestly I think I was getting burned out at work. The various customer contacts makes it easy to see how I would get a cold or illness. The customers are extremely varied but tend to be from the lower income demographic being located between the local mission and housing project.
Still I did try to get better and now with today Sunday and Monday off hope to somehow russel up next weeks video and take it easy. Hopefully just the work separation and relaxation will help.
