Tonight on Jake's Showcase http://youtube.com/JakesShowcase I have just released my video "Jake Johnston - "Flirt, Flirt, Flirt" https://youtu.be/G7r4KE-AU0w currently at 0 Views 1 Like (my own) and 0 Dislikes. It was single shot with natural lighting. I think it was the 4th of 7 takes.
Each of my songs attempt to capture and idea or emotion. Here the fun and excitement of flirting. Fast paced and passionate the song has a nice flow and great vibe and encompasses the magic of not just flirting but flirting with Ms. Right. Ummm, Mummm, that yuminess, that flavor.
I guess the truth is with my songs, I have to get the inspiration from somewhere, and often from someone. I take the person, emotion, feeling in question and turn it into music. Really I have been focusing on love songs because I know that overall they are the best ones, the ones that get airtime, the ones that go big. Love, love and more love and all of it's dimensions and intricacies is a wealth of creative offspring. Of course there's more to sing about out there and we shall delve up the road.
But love baby that's what I want and that's what I sing about.
Just one hit and you're all set. Come on California give me a shout. Get me relocated at least by October.
I've got to earn it though. I've got to have good enough material music, acting or otherwise that someone thinks they can make a whole lot of money off me and call me "Hi Jake, We Want To Fly You To Los Angeles and we'll make it worth your time."
