Tonight on Jake's Showcase http://youtube.com/JakesShowcase I have just released "The Princess and The Frog - Modern Barbie Edition" http://youtu.be/R5pQpZyMT9A currently at 0 Views 1 Like 0 Dislike. It was done with spotlight and natural lighting and only one shot here put 16 takes overall.
I had one done with several short clips together that was about a minute shorter then this and while from a clean YouTube traditional standpoint it was a sharper cleaner cut video I felt that this full length variation while full of a couple fumbles was overall more entertaining and got the story through better.
Unusual to see a second Wednesday release well like I've said many times I like to keep my crowd off balance a bit so they keep checking in every once in a while to see if I've uploaded.
Really, the prior video was doing fine but really I didn't feel like it had the vibe or zip or something to it. It was no jump to that video where as this is more in line with a jumping, different type that I think has potential.
Well here's the story of Beautiful Princess Barbie and all she has to choose from. We get to go through her life and see all that she is presented with. In so many ways this story is both funny, entertaining and relatable.
I like sort of out of the box takes, take a classic story and twist it. The wonderful thing about creativity is that you can make it out of so many inspirations twists and turns that it's almost limitless.
The channel is very strongly up today before this upload and this day will be one of my largest in months. I usually like to hold when the channel is going up for no apparent reason but here I really wanted to feed the beast and keep it flowing.
The Princess and The Frog, what a fitting story.
