This one was pure passion. This one was all of it in one take. It was the right one or it wasn't going but this was all of it on the line tonight.
Sometimes you just move with your heart. The strategy, the numbers, all that jazz does not match the passion that one feels. Valentines night as it is it really was the only video vibe and feeling that fit the mood.
On Jake's Showcase there is a random mix of strategy, categories, giving people what I think will work and mixing it up with diliberation. But trumping all of that is videos such as this where it really doesn't matter all that jazz and a video just flows right out of me. I really have no choice but to have it flow.
I had planned on maybe putting a video out on Sunday evening but when I didn't having a Wednesday video I thought I'd let last nights go all week. Instead, tonight this just came out.
Unscripted, rather, I just saw the scene and knew the vibe and just knew it would come out the way it was suppose to. Inspired by the truth that is that choreographed video have a place but really there is no matching raw dramatic passion on film. This dramatic scene is in line with great scenes, there's no music, no fancy special effects, no bells and whistles if you will.
And most important the topic is love....the most passionate topic of all.
