I thought that this video was really the best of the last three and I like to have my best video be my Wednesday video. I do this in case I decide to give it a rest maybe for Christmas week with the video making....but then again maybe not....not sure.
A humorous take on the news and really not that far off. Nowadays News has become almost fear mongering in that all the news is BAD. Come on now you've to to admit it, it's all bad news and it's all so dramatic this video sort of takes it to the extreme.
Originally I had thought to do this skit with a suit behind a desk and have second and third scenes with me as the reporter however because of how much junk is in my room I would have to take the bed and everything out in order to get my desk against the wall to make a news like environment for the shoot then put it all back in after. In my video about "The Realities of Being A Solo YouTuber" http://youtu.be/rCFNrLfNpGM 546 Views 42 Likes 3 Dislikes that is what my place looked like the last time I had to do that news anchor set and I really didn't want that again. Plus honestly the Cowboy News anchor look I think really drives home the point of the crassness and brashness that the news has become.
Yell, screaming, spitting it as it is cowboy style while dramatically telling you the terrible news out there.
I have to say the cowboy look ...it's so "Giant" Like....I really like it....it allows me to not do my hair and keep that cowboy sex appeal groove going while shooting straight.
