The channel is doing well but the outside coldness is shutting me down. I have quickly vacated my typical walks as soon as the temperatures have dropped choosing the car for transportation. Literally I think, well it looks nice, I'll go for a walk, step outside feel that wind and saw "no way" and grab the car keys.
I have no time for the cold. It stinks really for many reasons but one being that I limit my fresh air and marginal exercise gained from walking. Also it limits whom I can meet because hard to bump into people for a chat car bound.
Nonetheless it is an overall improvement in my typical grouchy winter behavior as I no longer feel forced to challenge the unwinnable cold Canadian conditions.
I'm not the only one shying from the cold you can see the streets are more bare as people start to shelter from the cold and really it hasn't even snowed yet. Not sure how I can meet people for dates with the enclosed conditions but I have to simply keep a long term perspective in that regard.
Big day today. Big choice to make. Stability at work vs being asked to do things I really shouldn't be doing.
How long will it last, I don't know.
I guess at the end of the day you have to look at big picture progress. Keep your eyes open, know there's a bigger world, keep dreaming however, keep big items in life unchanged until change is obvious and required.
Life is tough for the little guy.
