The Knocks of Success

This morning on Jake's Showcase http://youtube.com/JakesShowcase my video "Jobs I Can't Do" http://youtu.be/fhgydPaRsCc is at 301 Views 27 Likes 2 Dislikes. Currently at 499,964 Views the channel should pass 500,000 today with an update so a big day.
An overall big weekend for the channel kept me quite hoping to let the momentum role as higher then usual back end views for a weekend kept pouring in.
I'm up and awake very early today, much to do on a busy week. Can't help but be high on life though seeing that so many things going my way almost half a million views now. About time.
I don't know how this all ends. Do I make the movies? Is Saturday Night Live up the road? Does a sitcom call my name? Does Jake's Showcase go mainstream? How does it end?
I talked earlier about ending it short of a million views, stopping at maybe half a million.
Some would consider this a failure, only half way there, but really 500,000 is a huge accomplishment to itself and should be good enough.
But I have no Hollywood calls yet. New York hasn't contacted me. Even a much duller but closer Toronto has not even whispered my name yet. You'd think they'd spot me by now. Someone would spot me.
Hey, I could use that guy is this role.
I think if I were to choose right now, Saturday Night Live would be my pick. New York, New York where are you?
I've seen it before, the fitness guy, gets his gym. The comedian, gets his role. The musician gets his record deal. Which am I? Good question.
I do belong. I am meant to be rich. I am meant to be famous.
And while the doors are silent at the moment, I know the knocks of success are soon to arrive.
